Biography

Dong Ziqing, PhD, Postgraduate Supervisor, is a core member of the SVF-gel fat patent team and holds a PhD in Plastic Surgery from Southern Medical University. From 2013 to 2014, he studied at the Department of Plastic Surgery, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Department of Plastic Surgery, Tufts Medical Center, USA. His main academic research interests are fat regeneration and adipose tissue engineering. He currently serves as principal investigator on projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and several other funds. He has published more than 20 SCI papers as first author and corresponding author, and his research findings have been published multiple times in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a top international journal of plastic surgery. He has presented on fat regeneration-related topics multiple times at the National Plastic Surgery Annual Meeting. He is skilled in the precise use of autologous fat for detailed facial sculpting and in the personalized design and shaping of body soft-tissue contours, achieving facial lifting, tightening and contouring, and full facial rejuvenation.
